Statement of Faith

As of the T.E.A.C.H. Board meeting of June 18, 2007, we uphold our existing policy in defining "Christian" as:

1. Someone who is either a member of or regularly attends a church that believes in salvation by the blood of Jesus Christ, the concept of the Trinity of the Godhead, and that the Holy Bible (Old and New Testaments) is the ONLY true and inspired Word of God. No extra-Biblical revelation is included in this belief.

2. They believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal God incarnate and that in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Also, they believe that NO ONE comes unto God the Father but through Him. Additionally, such person must be "born again" by the Spirit of God (as is defined in Scripture;) and, that they publicly acknowledge his or her personal salvation by the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Persons who do not fall within these guidelines may not hold officially-sanctioned positions within any organization sponsored by T.E.A.C.H.

This in no way is to be interpreted as a reflection on the character of any applicant for any position. T.E.A.C.H.acknowledges that there are many good people who do not meet the above requirements and that such people may aid in an unofficial capacity.

However, since T.E.A.C.H. is based on the above guidelines, these are the guidelines that MUST be applied to any person holding any officially-sanctioned position under the sponsorship of T.E.A.C.H.
