Season Our baseball season is in the spring. Practices begin in March.
Practices All teams have one team practice per week on a weekday evening. (with the exception of Tiny-Teeball which have no weekday practices)

Practice sites are determined each year. Every effort will be made to put children at a convenient site for each family. However, consideration in keeping teams even in terms of size and skill level is very important.

Game Site Game are typically played at Woodstock Park. This site will be confirmed at the beginning of the season.
Parent Participation Beach Junior Athletics is a volunteer run organization. Because of this parents are asked to help with various jobs such as:

team mom, picture helper, umpire

Coaches and Assistant Coach volunteers are especially needed!

Coaches All of our coaches fill out coaches applications where they are required to give their Christian testimony. The league provides a statement of faith so that all parents can be assured that coaches are in agreement with basic Christian doctrine.
Teams The administration of Beach Junior Athletics takes great care when dividing the teams. We strive to make all teams as even as possible in number and skill level.
Age Divisions

Age divisions will be made according to the sign ups received. Teeball, Softball, and Baseball teams will be formed. Full consideration is given to keeping similar ages together to insure that the children have fun and are able to develop age appropriate skills while adjusting numbers for team and practice night balance. All ages 2-12+ are encouraged to sign up. If more information is needed please feel free to email the baseball coordinator.

Equipment you will need to purchase Baseball: cleats, black baseball pants, socks in team color. (recommended but not required), glove

Softball: cleats, black baseball pants, socks in team color. (recommended but not required), glove

T-Ball- cleats or tennis shoes, black baseball pants, socks in team color. (recommended but not required), glove

Game Cancellation Policy The Spring is a very rainy season. Games will be cancelled due to weather or field conditions by 7:45 am. Woodstock Park does not open its gate until 7:30 and we are not able to make a field assessment before that time.  Make up games will be scheduled at the discretion of the coaches.
Fees Fees include season, uniform consisting of shirt and hat, team picture and end of season award.
Awards Picnic Award day will be held on Saturday, May 19th. Festivities will include picnic, and our scheduled games
